Camera Walk: Costa Azul

Scrambling up the unforgiving hills of San Pancho's northern shore is the quiet neighborhood of Costa Azul. Named after a now-derelict resort, this cleaner, shinier, better groomed version of San Pancho is a 15-minute walk from the pueblo proper and home to snowbirds and year-rounders seeking solace from harsher (read: northern) climates.

While Costa Azul doesn't boast the authentic grit and grime found in the pueblo, its beautifully manicured flora, brazen colors and gravity-defying construction are a true feast for the eyes. Here's what I captured of the neighborhood on a sunny afternoon.
